As soon as Taiwan’s “self-built submarines” started, Taiwan Shipping Company had a safety accident

Published

on

Taiwan Shipping Company just held the groundbreaking ceremony for its “self-built submarine” at the Kaohsiung Shipyard on the 24th. Unexpectedly, one day later, a safety accident occurred at the plant, causing one death and one injury. In this regard, the Taiwanese ship said that the accident has nothing to do with “self-built submarines.”

Taiwanese media “Central News Agency” reported on November 26 that the accident involved Taiwan shipping company building a 2800TEU container ship for Yangming Shipping. It is suspected that the outsourcer caused a fire due to the careless construction of the outsourcer, resulting in 1 death and 1 serious injury to the welder.

According to reports, the accident occurred at about 4:25 pm on the 25th. The workers’ named Hong and Chen hired by the outsourcer broke out during the electric welding in the cabin workshop of the factory. The injured were sent to Xiaogang Hospital and Kaohsiung Medical University affiliated middle school and memorial. The hospital was treated, but the worker surnamed Hong died at 11:21 that night.

Taiwan Ships emphasized that the ship was commissioned by Yangming Shipping to build. After the accident, the 2800TEU container ship has cooperated with the labor inspection shutdown and accident investigation.

On the same day, Taiwan Shipbuilding also told the media that the accident had nothing to do with “self-built submarines” and urged the outside world not to spread falsehoods.

The Labor Inspection Office of the Labor Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government pointed out that the dispatched personnel learned that the hull had been painted a few days ago, and the cabin contained organic solvents such as benzene. When the relevant personnel performed the hull welding project on the 25th, sparks and fire could occur. 1 death and 1 injury were caused, with burns of about 60%.

At present, the Labor Inspection Department has ordered the suspension of work and required Taiwan Shipbuilding to write an occupational disaster report. It will request the “Occupational Safety Administration of the Ministry of Labor” to make a ruling after verification.

The Labor Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government pointed out that the presence of flammable liquid vapor in the workshop has hidden dangers of explosion and fire. However, the employer did not immediately retreat the workers to a safe area, nor did they request that the use of fireworks and other ignition sources be stopped, which caused an explosion. This action violated the rules of occupational safety and health facilities and was fined up to NT$300,000.

In addition, the Kaohsiung City Police Department’s Xiaogang Branch, the Kaohsiung City Fire Department, and the “Interior Ministry Police Department” Kaohsiung Port Police Headquarters all said that they had not received any reports on the 26th. Taiwan Ship responded to this by saying that the company has a fire-fighting system that can deal with it quickly, send the injured to a doctor, and take care of themselves if there is a minor accident.

Taiwan leader Tsai Ing-wen has been promoting the “Taiwan self-built submarine” since he took office. On the 24th, Tsai Ing-wen hosted the groundbreaking ceremony of Taiwan’s “self-built submarine” at the Taiwanese shipping company’s Kaohsiung Shipyard. Yan Defa, officials from the American Taiwan Association, and others attended.

After Tsai Ing-wen presided over the opening ceremony of the factory building and plate rolling operation, Taiwan’s “self-built submarine” officially started and entered the construction phase.

According to the Taiwan military’s plan, this “self-built submarine” is expected to be launched in 2024 and can be delivered to the Taiwan Navy in 2025. The Taiwan Navy confirmed on the 23rd that the United States has agreed to export “digital sonar systems” and “submarine weapon systems” to Taiwan.

Shenzhen’s planned total industrial output value was 3.7 trillion yuan last year

Published

on

Jia Xingdong, director of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, revealed in an interview with the media yesterday that Shenzhen is doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control and speeding up the resumption of work and production. In 2020, the added value of industries above the designated size is expected to increase by 2%, and the total output value above the designated size is about 3.7 trillion yuan. , Ranking first among large and medium-sized cities nationwide for two consecutive years. He specifically mentioned that Shenzhen attaches great importance to the application of the industrial Internet. By the end of 2020, the bureau will arrange a total of 455 million yuan of special support funds and support 1,030 projects.

Shenzhen’s new infrastructure and new carriers achieve breakthroughs

In the early stage of the new crown pneumonia outbreak, Shenzhen did its best to ensure the protection of epidemic prevention materials. It took only one and a half months to promote the city’s daily output of 20,000 masks to 10 million, and the production capacity of protective clothing, thermometers, and ventilators increased several times in a short period of time Even dozens of times. After the epidemic was stable and controllable, Shenzhen actively promoted the resumption of work and production of enterprises, launched a number of measures such as special class services for key enterprises, and introduced a series of policies to stabilize industrial growth. The resumption of work and production of Shenzhen enterprises tended to a normal level in the second quarter of last year. In the first half of last year, the climb resumed. In July last year, the first-tier cities changed from negative to positive and then continued to grow steadily.

“Breakthroughs in the construction of new infrastructure and new carriers.” Jia Xingdong said that in 2020 Shenzhen will build more than 46,000 5G base stations, becoming the country’s first city to achieve full coverage of 5G independent networking; a new national (Shenzhen·Qianhai) Internet exchange center The pilot project has been listed with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; a special plan for the city’s information and communication infrastructure was issued, and 9743 multi-functional smart poles were built; promoted the upgrading of the high-performance medical device manufacturing innovation center to a national level and achieved a “zero” breakthrough; Shenzhen·International Open Source Valley It became the first open-source incubation base in China; the Chinese branch of the BRICS Future Network Research Institute became the first international organization to land in Shenzhen.

He revealed that not long ago, the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee deliberated and approved the “Measures for Promoting the High-quality Development of Manufacturing Industry to Unswervingly Build a Strong Manufacturing City”. This is a comprehensive policy supporting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry with wide coverage. , Strong strength and accurate perspective, which reflects Shenzhen’s unswerving determination to build a strong manufacturing city, and will soon be announced and implemented.

Over 50% of industrial enterprises’ production costs have fallen

Shenzhen Foxconn has a “lights-off factory” that can complete the entire production process automatically without turning on the lights. Jia Xingdong said that through the application of industrial Internet, machine substitution, flexible assembly, visual production management, and other technologies, all equipment, materials, and data in the factory are completely automatically transferred, which increases production efficiency by 30%, reduces inventory cycle by 15%, and saves 88 %, increasing the efficiency by 2.5 times, which is also a microcosm of Shenzhen’s industrial enterprises moving towards intelligence, networking, and digitization.

The survey shows that due to the promotion of industrial Internet applications, 52.6% of industrial enterprises in Shenzhen have reduced production costs, 53.3% of enterprises have improved their product yield, and 29.4% of enterprises have reduced their raw material losses. At the same time, the Industrial Internet has spawned new models and new business forms such as networked collaboration, large-scale customization, and service-oriented extension, which promoted the deep integration of advanced industries and modern service industries, and promoted the development of large and medium-sized enterprises.

He said that for the first time in the world, the cloud factory has realized “1 minute quotation, 1 hour on the machine” of non-standard structural parts, which has increased the manufacturing efficiency of structural parts by 50%, reduced costs by 30%, and made online manufacturing just like online. Shopping is just as convenient. At present, a batch of network factories such as Sujia.com and Cloud Factory has formed a new shared manufacturing platform of “Headquarters (Shenzhen) + Factory (Pearl River Delta)” for cross-regional manufacturing.

Industrial Internet promotes the development of digital twin technology. Shenzhen Bus used Hualong Xunda’s digital twin platform to build an electric bus digital twin. More than 300 sensors are installed on the actual operating vehicles, and various data such as accelerator, brake, driving direction, GPS position, and bearing temperature can be transmitted back to the bus command center in real-time.

The richness of application scenarios leads the country

“Shenzhen has been making great efforts to promote the innovation and development of the industrial Internet.” Jia Xingdong said that Shenzhen has issued the “Shenzhen Industrial Internet Development Action Plan (2018-2020)” to build three major systems: core support, integrated applications, and ecosystem Layout for the industrial Internet industry. The municipal government has specially established a leading group to promote the innovation and development of the industrial Internet, accelerate the promotion of industrial Internet demonstration applications, promote the formulation of industrial Internet standards, and build an industrial Internet public service system, so as to make Shenzhen a world-class industrial Internet city.

It is worth mentioning that Shenzhen is pushing for 5G+ industrial Internet applications. The 5G smart port project of Mawan Port in the western port area of Shenzhen uses technologies such as “5G + Industrial Internet” to realize the automation, intelligent command, dispatch, and monitoring of production factors such as on-site operators, loading and unloading equipment, and transportation trucks of the entire port, Which greatly improves port operation efficiency.

At present, Shenzhen’s cross-industry and cross-field industrial Internet platform is growing rapidly. In December 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced a list of cross-industry and cross-field industrial Internet platforms. Huawei, Foxconn, and Tencent’s three Shenzhen platforms were on the list, accounting for one-fifth of the list.

The richness of application scenarios leads the country. Shenzhen’s key enterprises in the fields of electronics manufacturing, mechanical equipment, precision manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, and clothing have boldly innovated industrial Internet applications and produced a number of typical cases. Huawei and Foxconn were selected as national industrial Internet demonstration enterprises; Huaxing Optoelectronics’ LCD smart factory, Hytera’s intelligent manufacturing of communication products, and EVOC Intelligent’s computer smart factory were selected as national intelligent manufacturing discrete manufacturing model pilot demonstrations; Shenzhen presents There are 11 municipal industrial Internet application benchmark companies, including Huawei, Foxconn, DJI, Huaxing Optoelectronics, and Yingling Zhisheng.
